"Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash we have very little reason to be interested in them." I remember reading Pauline Kael's quote years ago and it's always stuck with me. Films have always been cinematic adventures to me; a time I can disconnect from the real world and be a part of someone else's. Sure, people are influenced by art in many different ways but in the end, even trash can be photographed in a way that can be seen as brilliant. I hope to bring my knowledge and appreciation for even the biggest lumps of garbage that film has ever seen and provide insight and a place for cinema fans everywhere to talk, debate, and share their love for cinematic adventures.
